The Amboseli, which is the royal court of the world's free standing and Africa's tallest mountain, is host to large herds of Elephant and buffalo. Plus breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro.
Lake Nakuru is well known as a bird's paradise, a rhino and Rothschild giraffe sanctuary. I guarantee you sightings of this plus other ungulates. Whenever we sight a lion or other big cat, it has always been something to talk about as we transit to other park.
Maasai Mara is home to the black-manned lion, prolific herds wildebeest ( lead actor in the annual Serengeti-Maasai Mara migration). The vast plains are always beckoning for a cruise, wanting you to discover what lies yonder. This six day road trip is a remarkable and rewarding short Kenya vacation.

Safari itinerary.

Day 1: Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara
Arrive with the Morning flight, or picked up from your Nairobi hotel, you embark on a five hour drive that will take you through arcing vistas of the rift valley, mountains sticking out from the plains to the land of the strict traditionalists the maasai people. Just around lunch time, arrive in time for a buffet that will knock you off, before getting introduced to the wilds of the Mara. We use the Sarova Mara or Ilkeliani tented camps for full board accommodation.

Day 2: Full day in the Masai Mara
Early breakfast followed by a game drive. The landscape here is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills; this reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network, which enables close range viewing and photography. In the afternoon another game watching session . Alternatively grab your picnic basket and spend the whole day interacting with big game.

Day 3: Masai Mara then rumble to lake Nakuru National park.
After breakfast depart Masai Mara for Nakuru. Both parks seamlessly transit allowing for a great experience. Stay at the Sarova lion hill on full board.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru and a cruise to Amboseli
After breakfast you will have a morning game viewing session before checking out and cruising to Amboseli game reserve. You'll have lunch in Nairobi at any of our featured restaurants before continuing with your journey. Arriving late afternoon with a game drive as you check-in at  Ol Tukai lodge or Sentrim Amboseli.

Day 5: memorable vistas in Amboseli.
A day of game drives in this park, which contains swamp grounds with elephants and hippos in abundance. A visit to the observation hill will follow where you will look out for Mt.Kilimanjaro's peak if weather conditions permit.

Day 6: Amboseli then Nairobi
You have a choice of an early morning game drive, breakfast then checkout or breakfast,game drive then checkout.Whatever the choice you'll enjoy game viewing as you return to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Ask for a city tour before transferring to the airport of go directly to your city hotel.

By the end of this safari which is highly customizable, I expect you to have had a life changing moment plus a different view of Kenya.
