ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive Nairobi and feed the Giraffes

Jambo! Welcome to Kenya-the real Africa! Taste of Africa safari director is at hand to receive you on arrival and will escort and help you with check-in procedure at one of the leading Hotels of the World, Nairobi Serena Hotel. Start your afternoon with lunch followed by a trip to the home and farm of the famous writer of Out of Africa, Karen Blixen. Proceed to the Giraffe Center, where you have an opportunity of hand feeding the Rothschild Giraffes. Your dinner is reserved at the Carnivore Restaurant. 

Day 2: Cruise to the Mountain Lodge

Start early this morning cruising north to the slopes of Mount Kenya to Serena Mountain Lodge a tree hotel owned by the Serena group. Today's highlight is an afternoon nature walk in the Mount Kenya Forest escorted by the lodge's resident naturalist weather permitting. Game viewing is from the comfort of your lodge overlooking a salt lick that is constantly visited by a variety of animals.

Day 3: Samburu and Samburu Serena

Being a predator in the Masai MaraSink deep into your safari adventure as you drive north with a stop at the Equator to take memorable photographs as you cross from the Southern into the Northern hemisphere. Checking in at the Samburu Serena. Experience an afternoon game drive and the local luxury of your lodge in the Samburu national park.

Day 4: A whole day in the Samburu

Samburu Reserve is famous for the rare reticulated giraffe, long-necked gerenuk, Colobus monkey, Beisa Oryx and Grevy's zebra, Explore the pristine ruggedness and beauty of this park as you come face to face with some of these animals. 

Day 5: Sweetwaters driving in from Samburu

This morning drive to Sweetwaters Tented Camp set in the heart of a large privately owned game conservancy, enjoying magnificent views across the plains to the peaks of Mount Kenya. Each tented accommodation has a private veranda. Enjoy your stay in this privately owned wildlife conservancy. 

Day 6: A day of Sweetwaters

Enjoy spectacular views over the alternately lush and golden plains towards the snow capped Mount Kenya, plus get unprecedented close encounters with the wildlife in this sanctuary at the waterhole and salt lick. 

Day 7: Rumble to the Rift-valley and Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, board your safari cruiser and drive through Aberdares Mountain ranges and the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park the most fabulous bird spectacle in the world. The park and its lake play host to both greater and lesser flamingos and species of animals, including lion, leopard, rhino and hyena. Here you find the Kenya’s both black and white rhino sanctuary. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive along the lake-shore. Stay at the Sarova lion Hill. 

Day 8: Masai Mara and the kingdom of lions.

Today continue your safari adventure into the Masai Mara Game Reserve, the kingdom of lions and home to the migration of wildebeests and Zebra each summer. Check in at the Keekorok Safari Lodge for the overnight on full board basis. 

Day 9: A full day in the Masai MaraThe Masai Mara Savannah plains

Explore further the Masai Mara with two game drives today, getting up and close with the wildlife of the Masai Mara. Find out why this park is the new seventh wonder of the world plus interact with the tribal Masai and see for yourself how rich their culture is. Retreat back to the Keekorok Safari Lodge for dinner and the overnight. 

 

Day10: Awesome vistas and splendid Masai Mara

You have an option of an early morning balloon safari (extra $450 per person); it is always awesome soaring over a cast of wildlife in the plains of the splendid Masai Mara. Otherwise two full game drives are scheduled, with a bush breakfast in between or grab your picnic lunch box and spend the entire day enjoying the great vistas in your view. Later retreat back to the Keekorok Safari lodge for dinner and the overnight. 

Day 11: Masai Mara and wings to the Kenyan city.

After all the lively action, have your breakfast at leisure before dumping your safari rig for your late morning drive to Nairobi. Check in at the Nairobi Serena hotel for a leisurely refreshment before transferring to the airport for your outbound international flight back home. Tour price:
