Teaching in the orphanages

Teaching opportunity is another important area of interaction with these less privileged in the society as well availing an opportunity for students and other participants with the talent of teaching profession to exercise the same for the benefit of these children. It gives the missioners an opportunity to handle various children with different abilities by sharing their knowledge, skills and teaching talents. The head teacher appoints a member of his staff to assist in guiding the volunteers while providing tutoring help for students who require it.

The missioners can also get involved with the children through extra-curricular activities, like sports, theater, and art as this acts as an essential part that helps many impoverished children move up the socio-economic ladder.

The teaching program working hours ranges between 4 - 5 hours a day.

The missioners activate new senses in teaching the local schools and assist the children with homework in the after school studies at the centre.
